About the Role

The company is seeking an experienced Estimator with a background in drywall, framing, and acoustical ceilings. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders, managing pricing for multiple ongoing bids, and supporting project delivery teams through preconstruction.

Key Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.

• Perform material take-offs and create accurate bills of quantities.

• Solicit and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

• Identify value engineering opportunities and assess potential project risks.

• Prepare bid proposals and support management during tender reviews.

• Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure smooth handover and cost control.

• Maintain knowledge of local market rates and construction trends.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience estimating drywall, framing, and ceiling systems.

• Strong understanding of commercial and residential interiors construction.

• Proficiency with estimating software (such as On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, or similar).

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple bids and meet tight deadlines.
