Responsibilities:

• Review project specifications, architectural drawings, and construction documents to prepare comprehensive drywall estimates.

• Perform accurate take-offs for metal framing, insulation, drywall, taping, and acoustical ceilings.

• Develop detailed cost estimates including materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and overhead.

• Work closely with project managers, general contractors, and suppliers to gather pricing and project scope information.

• Evaluate bids and proposals to ensure completeness and competitiveness.

• Track bid status, maintain estimating records, and assist in value engineering proposals.

• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and walkthroughs to assess project conditions and scope.

• Support transition from preconstruction to project execution, including scope handoffs and budget

Requirements:

• 3+ years of estimating experience in commercial drywall and related interior systems.

• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and industry best practices.

• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, or similar).

• Excellent math, analytical, and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple bids and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments and with clients.

• Experience working with general contractors and on mid- to large-scale commercial projects is essential
