I am currently recruiting for a Senior Buyer to join a leading specialist contractor based in Sevenoaks. My client is a highly respected name in the Drylining and Internal Fit-out sector, known for their commitment to quality and excellence on high-profile projects.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a procurement professional who can take ownership of their supply chain and ensure their projects remain both on time and on budget.

• Lead the procurement of construction materials, specifically focusing on drylining, partitions, and internal fit-out systems.
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key manufacturers and specialist suppliers.
• Secure the best possible commercial terms, managing rebates and ensuring price stability across multiple project lifecycles.
• Work closely with Project Managers and Estimators to identify material requirements and provide accurate cost data for future tenders.
• Coordinate deliveries to ensure site teams have the materials they need precisely when they need them.

• Proven track record in procurement within the construction sector (Drylining or Internal Fit-out experience is highly desirable).
• Strong negotiation skills and a "commercial-first" mindset.
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple high-value orders simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and procurement software.
• Ability to work from the Sevenoaks office, Mon–Fri, 08:00–17:00.
