• Oversee multiple flat roofing projects simultaneously, from initial client brief through to final completion and handover.

• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their expectations are consistently met and exceeded.

• Manage project budgets, track costs, and ensure profitability, identifying and mitigating any potential financial risks.

• Uphold the company's impeccable health and safety standards, implementing and monitoring robust safety procedures on all sites, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

• Lead, motivate, and manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.

• Ensure all roofing installations meet the highest quality standards and specifications.

• Provide expert technical advice on various flat roofing systems, including liquid applied, bituminous, single-ply, and hot-melt solutions.

• Proactively identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during projects, ensuring minimal disruption.

• Provide regular, accurate, and detailed reports on project progress, finances, and any relevant issues to senior management.

• Demonstrated experience as a Contracts Manager within the flat roofing sector, with a strong understanding of various roofing systems (liquid, bituminous, single-ply, hot-melt).

• In-depth knowledge of flat roofing specifications, installation methods, and relevant building regulations.

• A robust understanding and commitment to health and safety best practices, ideally with relevant certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS).

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

• Exceptional organisational and time management abilities, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects efficiently.

• A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to challenges.

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide project teams.

• Competent in using project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Full UK driving licence.
