About the Role

We’re seeking a seasoned Concrete Project Manager to lead a variety of specialized concrete installations across commercial interiors. This role is critical in ensuring that structural and decorative concrete work is delivered to the highest standards—on time, on budget, and in full coordination with other construction phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Oversight & Execution

  • Lead and manage all phases of concrete work: structural footings, bearing and decorative staircases, self-leveling floors, deck and fill systems, slab-on-grade, vault installations, and custom-colored surfaces.

  • Coordinate staging, placement, finishing, and curing operations to meet precise leveling and quality requirements.

• Planning & Coordination

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and labor plans.

  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, general contractors, and specialty subcontractors to ensure smooth execution.

• Budget & Resource Management

  • Track labor hours, material usage, and subcontractor performance against budget.

  • Procure equipment and oversee material staging for optimal site performance.

• Quality Control & Safety

  • Implement and enforce high standards of concrete finishing, leveling, and structural integrity.

  • Maintain compliance with all site-specific and regulatory safety requirements.

• Stakeholder Reporting

  • Deliver clear project updates to internal leadership, owners, and general contractors.

  • Support project close-out with detailed documentation and final walkthroughs.

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing commercial concrete work, preferably in interior construction.

• Deep technical knowledge of:

  • Slab and structural footings

  • Self-leveling floor systems

  • Concrete stair construction and formwork

  • Vaults and deck/fill systems

  • Decorative and colored concrete finishes

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and technical specs.

• Proficiency with construction scheduling tools and project reporting software.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent field experience.

• Experience working in fast-paced urban job sites such as NYC or other metropolitan areas.

• Familiarity with interior fit-outs requiring high-finish standards and coordination across multiple trades.

• Background with MWBE firms or public sector/compliance-heavy projects a plus.

• OSHA certification or equivalent safety credentials.

• Lead concrete projects on landmark commercial interiors in one of the nation’s most dynamic construction markets.
