About the Role

  • Lead front-end growth across NC and the Southeast.

  • Build and execute market strategy across priority sectors.

  • Originate relationships with owners, developers, A/E partners, brokers, and lenders.

  • Drive capture from first conversation to shortlist (discovery, teaming, risk review).

  • Oversee RFQ/RFP responses, interviews, and pursuit narratives.

  • Maintain disciplined CRM pipeline with forecasting and next steps.

  • Collaborate with Precon, Ops, Marketing, and Exec teams to shape win strategies.

  • Track competitor trends, pricing intel, utilities, incentives, and sector signals.

  • Regional travel required for client meetings, site visits, and events.

About the Candidate

  • Experienced BD professional within industrial and commercial construction.

  • Proven track record generating new relationships and shaping early-stage pursuits.

  • Strong understanding of CMAR, Design-Build, and Progressive DB.

  • Skilled at turning market intel into qualified opportunities and structured pipelines.

  • Highly credible communicator — translates technical detail into clear client value.

  • Organised, strategic, relationship-driven, and operates with high EQ.

  • Brings versatility across manufacturing, mixed-use, multifamily, and hospitality sectors
