About the Role

We are seeking an Assistant Electrical Project Manager to support the successful delivery of commercial electrical projects. Working closely with the Project Manager and field team, you will assist with project coordination, scheduling, procurement, documentation, billing, and cost tracking.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Electrical Assistant PM or Project Coordinator looking to take the next step in their career and gain greater responsibility across large-scale commercial projects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support Project Managers with day-to-day project delivery.
  • Assist with budgets, billing, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate with field teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Track materials, labor, schedules, and project progress.
  • Help ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Commercial electrical construction experience.
  • Previous Assistant PM, Project Coordinator, or similar experience.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Understanding of project budgets, billing, and cost control.
  • Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and procurement.
  • Ability to work effectively with field and project teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to develop into a Project Manager.
