My client   is a large, nationally recognized electrical contracting firm with decades of experience delivering complex commercial and industrial projects. The company is known for its strong safety culture, technical expertise, and ability to execute large-scale work across sectors such as healthcare, data centers, institutional, and commercial construction. With a significant presence in major U.S. markets, the firm maintains a reputation for quality, reliability, and long-term client relationships.

About the Role

  • Four-year Construction/Engineering Degree or equivalent combination of technical training and related experience
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in construction, design, finance and management
  • 2 or more years of experience working for a commercial electrical contractor
  • Proficiency in computer software and keyboarding necessary (Primavera, Expedition, CGC CMS, MS Word, Excel, AIA Contract Documents)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced knowledge of safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, engineering drawings, and other construction documents

About the Candidate

  • Project Planning & Administration:  Assist with the overall planning, scheduling, and administration of assigned projects.
  • Contract & Buyout Management:  Review owner contracts to ensure compliance and assist with contract buyouts in accordance with company policy.
  • Safety & Quality Control:  Assist with the development of site-specific safety programs and project-specific quality programs.
  • Documentation & Logs:  Manage and maintain project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and project meeting minutes.
  • Financial & Budget Support:  Assist with managing project costs relative to budget and tracking change orders.
  • Scheduling:  Manage schedule updates to ensure timely project completion.
  • Closeout Activities:  Participate in and document the punch list process, coordinate owner training, and prepare O&M manuals and warranties.
  • Site Logistics:  Assist with the development of site logistics plans.
  • Risk Mitigation:  Help identify risks that could affect cost, schedule, or owner satisfaction.
  • Reporting:  Assist with the preparation of monthly project status reports and executive summaries.
  • Field Support:  Assist with establishing work breakdown structures and coordinating with field supervisors.
