Waterproofing Project Manager

We are working with a leading roofing and waterproofing contractor in Houston that is seeking an experienced Waterproofing Project Manager to join their growing team. This is a key hire within the business, offering the opportunity to play a strategic role in both project delivery and the expansion of the waterproofing division.

This position is ideal for someone who not only has strong technical expertise in waterproofing systems, but also the ability to build client relationships, support business development, and contribute to long-term growth.

• Manage waterproofing projects from pre-construction through completion
• Oversee scheduling, budgeting, subcontractors, and on-site execution
• Review drawings, specifications, and ensure quality control across all works
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within waterproofing scopes
• Support estimating, bidding, and proposal preparation where required
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget

Scope of Work / Systems Experience

Candidates should have experience across a range of waterproofing and restoration systems, including:

• Above and below-grade waterproofing systems
• Bentonite and crystalline waterproofing
• Cold-applied and self-adhering membranes
• Exterior coatings (elastomeric, waterproof, and aesthetic coatings)
• Sealants (silicone, urethane, epoxy, firestop)
• Expansion joints (building and parking structures)
• Parking garage restoration and traffic coatings
• Concrete and masonry restoration (brick replacement, tuckpointing, façade repairs)
• Wall stabilization and flashing systems

• Proven experience in waterproofing, roofing, or building envelope projects
• Background in project management or estimating (both considered)
• Strong understanding of commercial construction practices
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively
• Business development mindset with the ability to generate or support new work
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
