About the Role

Position Overview:

Our client, a respected and growing electrical contracting company with a strong reputation in the Southeast, is seeking a highly capable Traveling Electrical Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial electrical projects across the state of Florida. While projects may be spread statewide, there is a strong preference for candidates located near the Tampa region.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of electrical construction projects from start to finish. This includes overseeing field operations, managing budgets and schedules, maintaining quality and safety standards, and serving as the primary liaison between clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.

Scope Of Work: To manage and deliver electrical construction and renovation projects across Florida, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality execution.

Job Role – Traveling Project Manager
Location – Florida
Salary – $120,000 DOE + Per Diem
Package – (Tier 1 – Tier 5) – Truck, Gas Card, 401k, Health Benefits, PTO 2 Weeks

About the Candidate

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience managing electrical projects in commercial or industrial construction.
  • Strong understanding of NEC, OSHA standards, and electrical systems in new construction and renovation environments.
  • Proven track record of delivering multi-million-dollar projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent organizational, budgeting, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with project management software and construction documentation.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Florida; overnight stays required based on project needs.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Florida Electrical License (Journeyman or Master) is a plus but not required.
  • OSHA 30 Certification strongly preferred.
