About the Client

With over two decades of experience, this boutique construction and consulting firm has carved a niche in luxury retail, commercial, and residential projects across the U.S. Specializing in high-end retail spaces, the company has delivered flagship stores and boutiques for some of the world’s most iconic fashion brands; think Gucci, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, and Bulgari.

Their work is characterized by precision craftsmanship, global sourcing, and a deep understanding of each brand’s unique aesthetic. From bespoke interiors to complex builds, they consistently deliver ahead of schedule, even on the tight timelines typical of retail rollouts.

About the Role

This role leads the charge on-site from the moment the job kicks off to the final walkthrough. You’ll be the point person for coordinating day-to-day field operations; managing subs, vendors, and keeping everything running smoothly. It’s about balancing quality, safety, and timelines, all while representing the company with professionalism from start to finish. This role requires 75% travel across the Tri-state region.

  • You know how to spot conflicts in contracts and flag issues early, especially if they impact timelines or the scope.

  • You’ll take charge of the build from the ground up; no hand-holding required.

  • You’ve led subs before, keeping them on track and on time is second nature.

  • On-site questions? You’re the go-to.

  • Transparency is key; you’ll keep open lines of communication with the team throughout the project.

  • You’re on top of documentation: field changes, RFIs, approvals, and updates are tracked and handled.

  • You’ve got a handle on all the moving parts; deliverables, budgets, POs, contracts, and vendor payments.

  • Daily logs, site photos, and tracking progress? You’re already doing that.

  • You’ll run toolbox talks with subs and make sure updates from the field are clearly reported back to the office.

  • Quality and safety matter, you’ll be the eyes on-site making sure everything meets expectations.

  • You’ll oversee punch lists and help tie the bow on project closeouts.

  • And finally, you’re flexible and open to tackling whatever else your supervisor throws your way.
