About the Role

  • Lead on-site construction activities across large scale commercial and mission critical data center projects
  • Oversee day to day field operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans and specifications
  • Coordinate with electrical contractors, controls integrators, general contractors, and subcontractors to maintain alignment and productivity on site
  • Supervise installation of building automation systems (BAS), PLC controls, and related electrical and mechanical infrastructure
  • Manage field schedules, subcontractor sequencing, and manpower to keep projects on track and maintain construction timelines
  • Work closely with project management and engineering teams to resolve field issues and ensure installations meet design requirements
  • Support commissioning teams during system startup, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure successful system operation
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality control, and compliance with electrical codes and site regulations
  • Monitor construction progress, document site activities, and provide updates to project leadership and stakeholders
  • Identify and address field challenges proactively to keep work progressing smoothly
  • Travel to project sites across the United States to oversee construction activities and support project teams on location
  • Build strong working relationships with subcontractors, site personnel, and project leadership to ensure successful project delivery

About the Candidate

  • Proven experience working as a Superintendent or field leader on large scale commercial construction or mission critical data center projects
  • Strong background supervising electrical, mechanical, and building systems installations within complex construction environments
  • Experience overseeing field installation of building automation systems (BAS), electrical infrastructure, and related mechanical systems
  • Demonstrated ability to manage site operations, subcontractors, manpower, and construction schedules in a fast paced environment
  • Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure, power distribution, and coordination with mechanical and controls systems in commercial facilities
  • Experience coordinating with project managers, general contractors, engineers, commissioning teams, and client representatives on site
  • Familiarity with commissioning activities, system startup, and supporting testing of building systems during project closeout
  • Knowledge of construction safety standards, electrical codes, and industry regulations
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to resolve field issues and maintain project progress
  • Willingness and ability to travel to project sites across the United States as required
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills to manage subcontractors and site teams effectively
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent field experience
