About the Role

  • Lead field crews on large scale commercial and mission critical data center construction projects
  • Direct day to day work activities on site, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans and specifications
  • Coordinate with electricians, controls technicians, subcontractors, and site leadership to maintain workflow and productivity
  • Oversee installation of building automation systems (BAS), PLC controls, and associated electrical and mechanical components
  • Assign daily tasks, manage crew productivity, and ensure manpower is used effectively to meet project schedules
  • Work closely with superintendents, project managers, and engineering teams to address field issues and maintain installation quality
  • Assist with system startup, commissioning activities, and troubleshooting during project closeout
  • Enforce safety standards, job site policies, and compliance with electrical codes and regulations
  • Track daily progress, report field updates, and communicate site needs to project leadership
  • Identify and resolve field challenges to keep work progressing and minimize delays
  • Travel to project sites across the United States to support construction activities and lead field crews
  • Maintain strong working relationships with site teams, subcontractors, and project leadership to ensure successful project execution

About the Candidate

  • Proven experience working as a Foreman or lead field supervisor on large scale commercial construction or mission critical data center projects
  • Strong background leading electrical or building systems crews within complex construction environments
  • Experience overseeing field installation of building automation systems (BAS), electrical infrastructure, and related mechanical systems
  • Demonstrated ability to manage crew productivity, manpower, and daily work activities in a fast paced construction environment
  • Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure, power distribution, and coordination with mechanical and controls systems in commercial facilities
  • Experience coordinating with superintendents, project managers, engineers, and subcontractors on site
  • Familiarity with commissioning support, system startup, and assisting with testing of building systems during project closeout
  • Knowledge of construction safety standards, electrical codes, and job site regulations
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to resolve field issues and keep work progressing on schedule
  • Willingness and ability to travel to project sites across the United States as required
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to direct crews and maintain productivity on site
  • Trade school training, apprenticeship completion, or equivalent field experience preferred
