Superintendent - Tilt-wall

Responsibilities

• Lead all field operations for tilt-wall construction from pre-pour planning through panel erection and final bracing.
• Coordinate slab preparation, panel layout, forming, reinforcing steel, embeds, lifting inserts, and concrete placement.
• Manage crane operations, rigging activities, and panel erection in accordance with engineered lift plans.
• Ensure temporary bracing is installed, inspected, and maintained until permanent structural stability is achieved.
• Coordinate daily with Project Managers, Engineers, Surveyors, Subcontractors, and Inspectors.
• Maintain project schedules and proactively resolve field issues to minimize delays.
• Enforce OSHA standards, site-specific safety requirements, and best practices throughout all tilt-up operations.
• Perform quality control inspections before concrete placement and during panel erection to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Lead daily safety meetings and coordinate work activities across multiple trades.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience as a Superintendent on commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Proven experience managing tilt-wall construction from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of tilt-up sequencing, crane operations, rigging, panel erection, and temporary bracing.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, lift drawings, and erection plans.
• Experience coordinating concrete crews, steel erection teams, crane operators, and subcontractors.
• Thorough understanding of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
