Superintendent - Tampa

Due to continued expansion, our client is looking to hire a Superintendent to oversee commercial drywall projects throughout the Tampa area.

This opportunity is ideally suited to someone who has already managed smaller commercial drywall projects and is looking to further develop their career with a company that offers genuine progression, support and exposure to larger projects.

You'll be responsible for leading day-to-day site operations, coordinating labour and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.

 

• Manage the day-to-day running of commercial drywall and interior systems projects.
• Supervise Foremen, field staff and subcontractors on site.
• Coordinate labour, deliveries and project schedules.
• Work closely with Project Managers to ensure projects remain on programme and within budget.
• Conduct daily site walks and maintain quality control.
• Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed.
• Build strong relationships with General Contractors and other trades.
• Assist with project planning and help drive successful project delivery.

• Previous experience as a Superintendent within commercial drywall, metal framing and interior systems.
• Experience managing smaller commercial drywall projects independently.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to organise labour and maintain project schedules.
• Good understanding of commercial construction practices and safety standards.
• Motivated to develop into a Senior Superintendent role over time.
