About the Client
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent
to oversee the day-to-day field operations of healthcare construction projects. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience managing healthcare construction projects
and a proven ability to deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a thorough understanding of healthcare facility construction and regulatory requirements.
About the Role
- Manage all on-site construction activities from project start through completion.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce project schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, building codes, and healthcare regulations.
- Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing OSHA standards and company safety policies.
- Conduct daily site inspections and quality control reviews.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to resolve field issues.
- Monitor project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Manage site logistics, material deliveries, equipment, and workforce planning.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, safety logs, and progress records.
- Identify potential project risks and implement proactive solutions to minimize delays.
About the Candidate
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on healthcare construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare construction standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience managing hospital, medical office, clinic, or other healthcare facility projects.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
