Storefront and Curtain Wall Fabricator

One of my clients is seeking an experienced Storefront & Curtain Wall Fabricator to join its warehouse and fabrication team. This individual will be responsible for the accurate fabrication and assembly of storefront and curtain wall systems, ensuring all products meet project specifications, quality standards and required production schedules.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with commercial glazing systems and be comfortable reading fabrication drawings, operating fabrication equipment and working as part of a team to deliver high-quality architectural aluminum products.

Key Responsibilitie

• Fabricate and assemble storefront, curtain wall and related aluminum glazing systems.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, fabrication details and project specifications.
• Measure, cut, machine and prepare aluminum extrusions and components for assembly.
• Operate fabrication equipment, including saws, CNC machinery and other relevant tools.
• Ensure fabricated materials meet project specifications, tolerances and quality standards.
• Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy, workmanship and overall quality.
• Coordinate with warehouse, project management and installation teams to ensure materials are ready for delivery.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised fabrication workspace.
• Identify and report fabrication issues, material shortages or discrepancies in drawings.

Requirements

• Previous experience fabricating commercial storefront and curtain wall systems.
• Strong understanding of aluminum glazing systems, components and fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and fabrication details.
• Experience using fabrication machinery and hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, organised and able to meet production deadlines.

An experienced commercial glazing fabricator with a strong background in storefront and curtain wall systems, capable of producing accurate, high-quality assemblies while supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy fabrication facility.
