About the Role

  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience as a commercial electrical service technician
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and repairs in commercial environments
  • Proven ability to manage small electrical projects up to $50,000, including planning, execution, and closeout
  • Experience working directly with clients to assess service needs, provide solutions, and maintain satisfaction
  • Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical drawings, and job specifications
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a field or service capacity
  • Solid knowledge of NEC codes, OSHA safety standards, and industry best practices
  • Capable of mentoring and guiding junior technicians in the field
  • Comfortable using service management software and technology for scheduling, documentation, and communication
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple service calls or small projects simultaneously

About the Candidate

  • Manage and oversee small to mid-sized commercial electrical service projects from initiation to completion
  • Coordinate scheduling and dispatch of service technicians to ensure timely response and efficient job execution
  • Communicate directly with clients to assess needs, provide estimates, and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Review and approve work orders, job scopes, and material requirements for service jobs under $50,000
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with NEC codes, safety regulations, and company standards
  • Support technicians with troubleshooting complex electrical issues in the field
  • Monitor project budgets and ensure cost control measures are in place
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including service reports, job logs, and client communications
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, often securing repeat business
  • Work closely with the estimating team to price service jobs accurately and competitively
