Senior Superintendent - Tampa

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint one or potentially two Superintendents to support their expanding workload across the Tampa area.

The priority hire is a Senior Superintendent with a proven background managing commercial drywall projects valued between $5M–$7M. A second opportunity may also be available for a Superintendent with less experience who is ready to step up and lead smaller commercial projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong backlog of work and genuine long-term career progression.

 

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations on large commercial drywall and interior systems projects.
• Manage Foremen, subcontractors and site teams to deliver projects safely, on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate labour, materials, equipment and project sequencing.
• Work closely with Project Managers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Chair site meetings and maintain excellent relationships with General Contractors.
• Maintain the highest standards of quality control and health & safety.
• Resolve on-site issues quickly while keeping projects on programme.
• Mentor junior field staff and help develop future site leaders.

• Extensive Superintendent experience within commercial drywall, metal framing and interior systems.
• For the senior position: Demonstrable experience successfully delivering $5M–$7M commercial drywall projects.
• Strong leadership, organisation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain demanding project schedules.
• Stable employment history with reputable drywall contractors.
• Experience across healthcare, commercial, hospitality, education or large mixed-use projects is highly desirable.
