About the Role
- Lead full lifecycle management of major electrical construction projects from preconstruction through final turnover
- Maintain overall responsibility for project financial performance, including cost tracking, forecasting, and risk management
- Manage owner relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for project communication and issue resolution
- Oversee contract management, change order negotiation, and subcontractor/vendor performance
- Partner with field leadership to align schedule, manpower planning, and project execution strategy
- Lead project buyout strategy and procurement planning for major equipment and subcontract scopes
- Review and approve project schedules, budgets, and project execution plans
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect cost and schedule
- Support business development efforts, including client relationship building and pursuit strategy input
- Mentor and develop Project Managers, Project Engineers, and emerging leaders
About the Candidate
- 10+ years of electrical construction project management experience
- Experience managing large commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or infrastructure electrical projects
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, project financials, and cost control processes
- Proven track record managing large project budgets and complex client relationships
- Strong leadership and team development experience
- Experience with construction management software and scheduling platforms preferred
