Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Drywall Project Manager to lead major commercial drywall and interior systems projects across the Orlando and Tampa markets. This leadership role focuses on overseeing project delivery, mentoring project teams, and ensuring exceptional performance on schedule, within budget, and at the highest quality and safety standards.

 

• Lead end-to-end delivery of commercial drywall and interior systems projects from pre-construction planning through final close-out, ensuring customer satisfaction and contract compliance.

• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, procurement plans, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Coordinate with internal teams — including estimating, operations, and field supervision — and external partners (GCs, architects, engineers, and subcontractors) to align objectives and execution plans.

• Provide strong leadership and hands-on direction to project managers, superintendents, and field teams to drive successful project outcomes.

• Monitor project progress, resolve issues proactively, and maintain open communication with stakeholders on status, risks, and opportunities.

• Ensure compliance with all safety requirements and industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

• Mentor and develop emerging project management staff and contribute to continuous improvement in processes and standards.

• Experience: Minimum 7+ years of project management experience in commercial construction, with strong preference for drywall, metal framing, and interior finishing environments.

• Strong ability to interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.

• Proven track record managing multiple concurrent projects with respect to scope, schedule, and budget.

• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office suite.

• Strong commercial awareness with ability to forecast, manage cost performance, and optimize project outcomes.
  
   

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• Experience with BIM, Design Assist, and advanced construction coordination methods.

• History of mentoring project teams and contributing to organizational process improvements.
