Senior Project Manager (Healthcare)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage healthcare construction projects from planning through completion.
• Oversee ground-up construction and renovation projects in active or specialized healthcare environments.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and internal project teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract documents and quality standards.
• Maintain strong communication with clients and project stakeholders throughout all phases of the project.
• Lead project meetings, prepare reports, and track key milestones, risks, and deliverables.
• Manage subcontractor performance, scope compliance, schedule coordination, and field execution.
• Work closely with superintendents and field teams to resolve project issues and maintain project momentum.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare construction standards, safety protocols, infection control procedures, and facility requirements.
• Review and manage project financials, including cost forecasts, buyout, billing, change management, and profitability.
• Support preconstruction efforts as needed, including constructability reviews, budgeting, scheduling input, and logistics planning.
• Drive project closeout, including punch lists, owner training, warranties, final documentation, and turnover.

Qualifications

• 7–9 years of project management experience in commercial construction.
• Proven experience in the healthcare construction sector.
• Prior experience working directly for a General Contractor required.
• Experience managing projects valued at $100K+.
• Experience with ground-up construction and/or renovation projects.
• Strong understanding of healthcare facility requirements, construction logistics, phasing, safety, and infection control practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Bilingual skills preferred.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, scheduling, budgeting, contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with construction management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
