About the Opportunity

The company is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join its Manhattan-based team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable estimating professional with a strong background in commercial drywall, metal framing, and interior construction to take ownership of major estimating projects and contribute to the continued growth of the business.

The successful candidate will bring strong technical estimating skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to prepare accurate, competitive bids for complex construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial drywall, metal framing, and interior construction projects.

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents to identify project scope and requirements.

• Perform quantity take-offs and assess material, labor, and equipment requirements.

• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.

• Develop competitive bid proposals, budgets, and pricing schedules.

• Identify potential risks, exclusions, and value-engineering opportunities.

• Coordinate with project management, operations, and other internal teams throughout the estimating process.

• Manage multiple bids and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

• Participate in bid reviews, client meetings, and post-bid negotiations where required.

• Proven experience as a Senior Estimator within commercial drywall, metal framing, or interior construction.

• Strong understanding of commercial construction drawings, specifications, and estimating processes.

• Experience preparing detailed quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns.

• Ability to accurately price labor, materials, and subcontractor packages.

• Strong knowledge of the New York commercial construction market is highly desirable.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a busy estimating team.

Salary & Benefits

• Competitive salary of $110,000–$160,000, depending on experience.

• Monday–Thursday working from the Manhattan office, with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.
