About the Role

This is a remote Senior Electrical Estimator position supporting major electrical construction pursuits across the contractor's operating regions.

The individual will act as a senior technical resource within Preconstruction, taking ownership of estimates from early conceptual budgeting through final proposal.

Responsibilities will include:

Independently lead complex electrical estimates.
Develop complete labor, material, equipment, subcontractor and indirect cost estimates.
Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and labor productivity analysis.
Review specifications, drawings, one-lines, schedules and project phasing.
Develop conceptual budgets, GMP proposals and design-build estimates.
Lead vendor/subcontractor solicitation, scope review and bid leveling.
Identify scope gaps, constructability concerns and commercial risks.
Support Go/No-Go decisions, bid strategy and executive estimate reviews.
Coordinate remotely with Operations, BIM/VDC, Procurement, Engineering and Field Leadership.
Support client presentations and major negotiated pursuits.
Mentor junior Estimators and help develop estimating standards and best practices.
Occasional travel may be required for site walks, project evaluations, pre-bid meetings and client meetings.

About the Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

6–10+ years of progressive Electrical Estimating experience.
Background with an Electrical Contractor across Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, Manufacturing and/or Mission Critical projects.
Experience leading large and complex electrical estimates and major bid pursuits.
Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, switchgear, generators, UPS, lighting, controls, grounding and low-voltage systems.
Experience with conceptual estimates, hard bids, negotiated work, design-build and GMP proposals.
Strong understanding of labor forecasting, productivity, constructability, value engineering and risk analysis.
Experience with estimating platforms such as Accubid, Trimble, ConEst or equivalent, alongside Bluebeam or similar takeoff software.
Mission Critical/Data Center estimating experience would be highly advantageous.
Comfortable mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior Estimators.
