Senior Contracts Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join a well-established specialist main contractor with a strong track record spanning over four decades in the construction sector.

The role offers a clear pathway for long-term career progression, including the opportunity to grow into a departmental leadership position. You will take full ownership of large-scale roof refurbishment projects, ensuring successful delivery from inception through to final account.

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale roof refurbishment and replacement projects.
• Take full commercial responsibility for project performance, including budgets, margins, and final accounts.
• Administer and manage JCT contracts, including variations, valuations, applications for payment, and final account agreements.
• Oversee project planning and programming, ensuring effective resource allocation, including labour and subcontractor management.
• Maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and quality across all sites, ensuring compliance with all relevant procedures and documentation.
• Manage and mentor junior members of the team, supporting professional development and driving continuous improvement across project delivery.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement and site visits, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.

• Proven experience in large-scale roof refurbishment or replacement projects within a main contracting environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, valuations, and cost reporting through to final account.
• Solid working knowledge and practical experience administering JCT contracts.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage confidently with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Strong track record in project delivery and contract management within the construction industry.
• Ambitious and motivated, with the desire to progress into a senior leadership role over time.
