Self-Perform Estimator

Key Responsibilities

• Cost Estimation: Develop comprehensive and accurate estimates for all self-perform packages, drawing on your background in trades such as concrete, drywall, carpentry, or facades.

• Bid Management: Oversee the entire bidding process for your assigned packages, from initial takeoff to final submission.

• Subcontractor Coordination: Work closely with the wider team to secure competitive bids and manage subcontractor relationships where needed, ensuring all project components align.

• Problem Solving: Utilize your deep industry knowledge to identify potential cost savings and resolve any issues that may arise during the estimation process.

Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced Estimator to manage all aspects of their self-perform work. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in commercial construction, with a strong background on the subcontractor side in trades like concrete, drywall, carpentry, or facades.

This person is a natural problem-solver who is highly organized and detail-oriented. You will be the main point of contact for all self-perform packages, ensuring every bid is accurate and submitted on time. This role requires someone who can master project details and keep every part of the bid focused on the overall project goals.
