Estimator – Drylining & Interiors (Remote / Work From Home)

A well-established specialist contractor within the drylining and interior fit-out sector is looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join their commercial team on a fully remote basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently while remaining part of a supportive and growing business delivering projects across the commercial, residential, healthcare and education sectors.

The Role

• Preparing accurate cost estimates and competitive tenders for drylining, ceilings and partition packages.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Producing material take-offs and labour assessments.
• Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Identifying value engineering opportunities where appropriate.
• Liaising with clients, suppliers and the internal commercial team throughout the tender process.
• Supporting handovers to the delivery team following successful bids.

Requirements

• Previous estimating experience within drylining, ceilings, SFS or interior fit-out.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience pricing projects ranging from small works through to multi-million-pound contracts.
• Commercial awareness and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines.
• Competent with Microsoft Office and estimating software.
