This is a senior leadership opportunity based out of Nashville, overseeing operations across Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina. Reporting directly to the COO, you will lead regional operations, drive business performance and play a key role in the continued growth of the business.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading a team of approximately 10 direct reports, with responsibility for regional field leadership.
Overseeing project execution, operational performance and financial results across the region.
Managing customer relationships and ensuring successful project delivery from pre-construction through closeout.
Driving operational improvements, profitability and business growth.
Working closely with project managers, estimators and executive leadership to deliver strategic objectives.
Initially travelling approximately 50% to establish relationships with projects and personnel, reducing to around 30% once established.

Key responsibilities include:

- Base salary: $170,000 - $190,000

About the Candidate
Our client is seeking an experienced operational leader from a commercial HVAC & Plumbing construction background who can balance strategic leadership with a hands-on approach. This individual will be responsible for driving operational excellence, developing teams, strengthening customer relationships, and supporting the continued growth of a regional business.

- 10+ years' leadership experience within commercial mechanical construction (HVAC & Plumbing).
- A proven background managing multiple projects, operational teams and P&L performance.
- Strong experience overseeing project delivery, estimating, forecasting, budgeting and labour planning.
- The ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, general contractors and developers.
- A hands-on leadership style with a track record of mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety and mechanical construction operations.
