About the Client

We are currently working with a market leader Electrical Contractor who focus in the mission critical space and are going through an exception growth phase.

As a mission-critical executive leader, the QA/QC Director defines the strategic vision and governance for the company’s quality programs. You will bridge the gap between executive leadership and field operations, ensuring all projects meet rigorous regulatory standards, client expectations, and internal performance KPIs. This role is the final word on reliability, risk mitigation, and the continuous improvement of scalable quality processes.

 

About the Role

  • Policy Development: Design and maintain enterprise-wide QA/QC policies, standards, and procedures.

  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with executive leadership on operational excellence and long-term strategic planning.

  • Performance Metrics: Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to monitor quality performance across all regions.

  • Program Management: Provide executive oversight for QA/QC initiatives across multiple complex projects.

  • Cross-Functional Integration: Partner with Operations, Safety, and Prefabrication teams to embed quality into the project lifecycle.

  • Project Closeout: Support commissioning, turnover, and formal client acceptance processes to ensure flawless delivery.

  • Regulatory Adherence: Ensure strict compliance with industry codes, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.

  • Audit Management: Oversee project audits, inspections, and quality reviews to maintain high performance standards.

  • Problem Solving: Lead root cause analysis and provide expert guidance on risk mitigation for complex quality issues.

  • Workforce Development: Lead QA/QC training programs and strategic workforce development initiatives.

  • External Liaison: Serve as the company’s primary representative in client meetings and third-party audits.

  • Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of excellence through ongoing efficiency and consistency initiatives.

About the Candidate

  • Technical Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of QA/QC systems, construction quality standards, and electrical practices (including NEC and regulatory codes).

  • Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to drive organizational development and align quality initiatives with overarching business goals and profitability.

  • Advanced Analytics: Proficient in data analysis tools and reporting platforms to track performance and drive continuous improvement.

  • Critical Problem Solving: Mastery of root cause analysis and risk mitigation for complex, mission-critical environments.

  • Executive Presence: Exceptional communication and presentation skills tailored for high-level stakeholders and clients.

  • Influence & Collaboration: Ability to build consensus and partner effectively across departments and multi-level leadership.

  • Operational Excellence: A detail-oriented mindset focused on standardizing processes and maintaining a culture of precision.
