Project Manager

A growing building envelope contractor is looking to identify an experienced Project Manager to join its team. With several projects approaching closeout and continued growth across the business, this is an opportunity for an experienced PM to take ownership of projects and play an important role within the company.

This is a forward-planning hire rather than an immediate replacement, so the company is open to speaking with strong Project Managers who could be a good long-term fit.

• Manage commercial glazing and window projects from handover through completion
• Take ownership of project schedules, budgets and overall delivery
• Coordinate with general contractors, architects, clients, vendors and field teams
• Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders and project documentation
• Coordinate material procurement and delivery schedules
• Work closely with field teams to ensure projects remain on schedule
• Monitor project costs and financial performance
• Attend project meetings and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors
• Identify and resolve project issues before they impact schedule or budget
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards
• Manage project closeout, punch lists and final documentation

• Previous experience managing commercial glazing, windows, storefront, curtain wall or related building-envelope projects
• Strong understanding of the construction process from estimating/handover through installation and closeout
• Experience coordinating with GCs, architects, clients, vendors and field teams
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Commercial awareness with a good understanding of project costs, schedules and change management
• Proactive approach to problem solving
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
