Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Project Manager / Estimator to join a growing commercial interiors contractor in Charlotte, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in both project management and estimating who wants to develop their career within a specialist subcontracting environment.

The successful candidate will help manage projects from estimating and preconstruction through to project delivery, working across a range of commercial construction projects, with a particular focus on healthcare and medical facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion.

• Prepare estimates, take-offs and bid proposals for upcoming projects.

• Coordinate with clients, general contractors, suppliers and field teams.

• Monitor project schedules, budgets, costs and overall progress.

• Review drawings, specifications and project documentation.

• Support the successful delivery of healthcare, high-rise multifamily and commercial office projects.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in commercial construction.

• Background in project management and estimating, ideally within commercial drywall, interiors or specialty subcontracting.

• Proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff (OST), Quick Bid and Bluebeam.

• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining strong attention to detail.

• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

• Healthcare or medical construction experience is highly desirable.
