Commercial Drywall Project Manager

Location: Northern New Jersey

Salary: $130,000 - $180,000 + Benefits + Performance Bonus

A well-established commercial drywall contractor is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to its growing operations team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected contractor with a strong backlog of commercial work across the New York and New Jersey markets.

The successful candidate will oversee multiple commercial drywall and interior systems projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial drywall, metal framing and acoustical ceiling projects simultaneously.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, subcontractors and field operations.
• Review contracts, drawings and specifications.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentation.
• Coordinate material procurement and supplier relationships.
• Build strong relationships with general contractors, owners and project teams.
• Conduct regular site visits and ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Project Management experience within commercial drywall or interior systems.
• Strong knowledge of drywall, metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings and commercial construction.
• Experience managing projects from award through closeout.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Experience using Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project or similar construction software is preferred.
