Project Executive

Just Construction is partnered with a leading commercial general contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering complex healthcare construction projects throughout South Florida.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead the delivery of a major healthcare program consisting of multiple renovations, expansions and capital improvement projects for a prominent South Florida health system. Collectively, these projects represent up to $450 million in construction value.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a contractor with a strong healthcare portfolio and play a key leadership role on one of the region's most significant healthcare construction programs.

As the Project Executive, you will provide executive leadership across a portfolio of healthcare renovations and expansion projects, ensuring successful delivery from preconstruction through final completion.

Responsibilities will include:

• Provide executive oversight across a major healthcare construction program valued at up to $450 million.
• Lead multiple Project Managers, Superintendents and project teams across concurrent projects.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with the healthcare client and key project stakeholders.
• Oversee project planning, procurement, scheduling and execution strategies.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
• Monitor financial performance, forecasting, cost controls and overall project profitability.
• Review and mitigate project risks while implementing proactive solutions.
• Support preconstruction, estimating and value engineering efforts.
• Lead executive project meetings with owners, consultants and internal leadership.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control protocols and operational requirements for occupied facilities.
• Drive collaboration between operations, field teams and executive leadership.
• Mentor Project Managers and support the continued growth of the operations team.
• Maintain exceptional client satisfaction while identifying opportunities for future work and long-term partnerships.
• Champion safety, quality and operational excellence across the entire healthcare program.

We are seeking an accomplished Project Executive with an extensive background delivering large-scale healthcare construction projects for a General Contractor.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• 15+ years of commercial construction experience with a General Contractor.
• Proven experience leading large healthcare construction projects or multi-project healthcare programs.
• Strong background delivering hospital expansions, renovations, medical office buildings, surgical facilities and occupied healthcare projects.
• Experience overseeing projects valued from $100M+, with the ability to manage complex capital programs.
• Demonstrated success leading multiple Project Managers, Superintendents and project teams simultaneously.
• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting and risk management.
• Extensive knowledge of healthcare construction regulations, life safety requirements and phased construction within active medical environments.
• Experience working closely with hospital executives, facilities departments, architects, consultants and owner representatives.
• Strong leadership, communication and client relationship management skills.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop project teams while driving operational excellence.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.

Experience delivering projects within occupied healthcare campuses is considered essential.
