Project Engineer

A growing architectural façade and custom window systems company in the NYC market is looking to hire a Project Engineer to support engineering, detailing, and project execution efforts on commercial and high-end residential projects.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with AutoCAD experience and exposure to façade, glazing, curtain wall, storefront, or custom window systems who wants to grow within a technically driven environment.

• Produce shop drawings from architectural and construction documents
• Interpret and develop window system and façade details in AutoCAD
• Perform field measurements and translate site conditions into accurate drawings
• Assist with material take-offs, coordination, and procurement support
• Maintain project schedules and organized documentation
• Coordinate internally with engineering and project management teams on RFIs, submittals, and project execution
• Take ownership of assigned scopes from start through completion

• Experience within the façade, glazing, curtain wall, storefront, or architectural window industry preferred
• Strong AutoCAD proficiency required
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
• Strong Excel and organizational skills
• Understanding of window systems, detailing, and construction coordination
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
• Curtain wall, metal panel, slab edge/slab cover, or 3D modeling experience is a plus
