About the Client
One of our clients is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Specialist
to support their growth in architectural wall systems, ACM, plate, phenolic, and specialty façade products. This role blends estimating, client relationship management, and early project strategy to help secure and shape high-value projects.
About the Role
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, addendums, and project documents to develop accurate and detailed takeoffs.
- Prepare budgets, conceptual estimates, and full proposals for façade system packages.
- Identify project risks, value-engineering options, material alternatives, and constructability considerations.
- Work closely with GC clients, architects, and internal teams to clarify scope, schedule drivers, and design intent.
- Participate in bid reviews, pricing strategy discussions, and presentation meetings.
- Support business development by nurturing long-term customer relationships and tracking pipeline opportunities.
- Coordinate handoff packages for awarded projects to ensure smooth transition to project management.
About the Candidate
- 3+ years of estimating or preconstruction experience in building envelope, cladding, or related construction sectors.
- Strong ability to read architectural drawings and understand façade system assemblies.
- Proficiency in estimating software, takeoff tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple bids simultaneously.
