About the Client

Our client is a well-established commercial contractor with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects across multiple sectors. They specialize in everything from retail and office developments to healthcare, education, industrial, and mixed-use projects — with the exception of federal work. Known for their collaborative approach and client-first mindset, they are seeking a Pre-Construction Manager / Senior Pre-Construction Manager who can bring immediate impact, strengthen client relationships, and drive projects seamlessly from pre-construction through to contract.

About the Role

Lead the pre-construction process from initial estimating through to contract execution.
Develop and manage detailed cost estimates, budgets, and pricing models.
Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Drive value engineering and provide cost-saving alternatives.
Prepare and present pre-construction reports and recommendations to clients.
Oversee the smooth transition from pre-construction to operations.
Negotiate and finalize contracts in line with project and client objectives.
Maintain strong client-facing relationships to foster repeat business.

About the Candidate

Proven experience as a Pre-Construction Manager, Senior Estimator, or Senior Pre-Con Manager within the commercial construction sector.
Strong knowledge of commercial project delivery(retail, office, healthcare, education, mixed-use, industrial, etc.).
Ability to work independently and deliver results quickly.
Advanced estimating, pricing, and cost-planning expertise.
Excellent communication and client management skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
