My client are provide exceptional HVAC, plumbing, piping, medical gas, and sheet metal throughout Florida. They offer a wide range of services, from preconstruction to construction, including design-build, 3D CAD/BIM, LEED and prefabrication capabilities

About the Role

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in plumbing quality control, inspection, or management within commercial construction

  • Deep knowledge of plumbing codes, systems, and materials, including domestic water, sanitary, storm, and medical gas systems

  • Proven experience conducting inspections and working with AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction)

  • Strong ability to read and interpret plumbing blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings

  • Familiarity with QA documentation processes, punch lists, and project management tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid)

  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Based in the Tampa Bay area or willing to relocate

With a robust pipeline of work and a reputation for quality and compliance, they are seeking an experienced Plumbing QA Manager to join their team and ensure consistent adherence to codes, specifications, and installation standards across all active projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee quality assurance protocols for plumbing installations on commercial construction projects

  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, codes, and company standards

  • Coordinate with project managers, field supervisors, and subcontractors to address and resolve quality-related issues

  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, punch lists, and corrective actions

  • Provide technical guidance and training to field personnel to ensure consistent workmanship and code compliance

  • Review plumbing submittals and shop drawings to identify potential conflicts or deficiencies

  • Serve as a liaison with inspectors, engineers, and owners to ensure quality expectations are met or exceeded

  • Contribute to continuous improvement by analyzing QA trends and recommending process enhancements
