A leading specialty glazing and building envelope contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its team in Sterling, VA.

This position will oversee commercial glazing and façade projects, including government and federally funded work, from contract award through completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial glazing, curtain wall, storefront, windows, or other building envelope systems and be comfortable working on projects with strict security and compliance requirements.

• Manage commercial glazing and façade projects from contract award through final completion.
• Oversee government and commercial projects ranging from preconstruction through installation and closeout.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for General Contractors, owners, architects, engineers, and government representatives.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, scopes of work, and project requirements.
• Coordinate curtain wall, storefront, windows, glass, and façade systems.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, procurement, fabrication, delivery, and installation schedules.
• Coordinate engineering and design activities with internal and external teams.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, schedules, and profitability.
• Work closely with estimating, engineering, fabrication, procurement, and field operations.
• Attend project meetings and provide regular project updates.
• Identify project risks and develop solutions to avoid schedule or cost impacts.
• Coordinate with field superintendents and installation crews to ensure projects are delivered safely and according to specifications.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Review progress billings, change orders, and closeout documentation.
• Maintain strong client relationships and support repeat business.

• 5+ years of Project Management experience within commercial glazing, curtain wall, façade, architectural metals, or a related specialty contracting environment.
• Experience managing government or federally funded construction projects strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial glazing and building envelope systems.
• Experience with curtain wall, storefront, window wall, architectural glass, or related systems.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Strong understanding of RFIs, submittals, procurement, scheduling, change orders, and cost control.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction software experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required.
