About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced New Construction Plumber to join a growing team covering the Southwest Atlanta region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing complete plumbing systems on commercial new-build projects, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and local codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Install DWV, water distribution, and storm drainage systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Measure, cut, thread, and fit various types of piping.
- Install fixtures, equipment, and plumbing systems on commercial construction projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades on site.
- Conduct pressure testing and system inspections.
- Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and company safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
About the Candidate
- Proven experience as a commercial new construction plumber.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and installation methods.
- Experience working on ground-up construction projects.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel across the Southwest Atlanta region.
- Strong commitment to health and safety practices.
Preferred Experience
- Commercial projects such as schools, healthcare facilities, data centres, industrial facilities, or office developments.
- Experience leading apprentices or small crews.
- OSHA certification is advantageous.
