Job Summary
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Prospecting:
- $110,000 - $120,000 basic salary with on target earnings in the region of $175,000 - $200,000 per annum
- Vehicle with gas card,
- Commission payments & hotel expenses and paid out of state travel.
- Health care to include vision.
- 401k
Job Summary
- The National BDM is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new high-volume service and inspection agreements.
- You will focus on recurring revenue streams, specifically Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, Extinguisher, and Special Hazard inspection contracts.
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Prospecting:
- Identify and "hunt" national and regional accounts
- (Fortune 1000, multi-site property groups).
- Analyze a prospect's current fragmented service model and present a consolidated national service program.
- Lead the response for large-scale Requests for Proposals (RFPs), coordinating with estimating and operations teams to ensure profitable pricing.
- Navigate complex legal and procurement hurdles to finalize multi-year Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
- Work with local branch managers and "National Account" coordinators to ensure a smooth transition from "Sale Won" to "Service Implementation."
- Maintain a rigorous pipeline in Salesforce or similar, forecasting revenue accurately to executive leadership.

Experience
- 5–10 years in B2B sales, specifically in Life Safety, Fire Protection & Facilities Maintenance .
- Familiarity with NFPA codes (NFPA 25 for sprinklers, NFPA 72 for alarms) and local AHJ requirements.
- Proven track record of hitting $2M+ annual quotas in recurring service revenue in your 2 nd year.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or Engineering preferred. NICET certifications are a significant plus.
- All travel paid but expect to travel extensively to meet with national decision-makers and visit key client sites.
