Millwork Engineer/Draughtsman

Position Overview:

We are looking for a technically skilled and detail-oriented Millwork Project Engineer / Draughtsman to support our growing network of millwork operations across multiple regions. This role is responsible for translating architectural concepts into precise fabrication-ready drawings, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring millwork projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed shop and production drawings for custom architectural millwork, cabinetry, and casework using AutoCAD.

• Review and interpret architectural and design intent drawings to develop technical fabrication documents.

• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, production teams, and installation crews across various locations.

• Conduct field verification/site measurements and incorporate findings into drawings.

• Develop cut lists, hardware schedules, and CNC-ready files where applicable.

• Identify and resolve potential design and production issues proactively.

• Maintain project documentation and participate in project meetings as needed.

• Ensure compliance with AWI standards and client-specific requirements.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of drafting standards and engineering processes.
