Mechanical Project Manager - Douglasville

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of complex construction projects from pre-construction through to final closeout.
 

The successful individual will be responsible for leading project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, contract administration, and team management while acting as the primary point of contact between clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
 

Key responsibilities include:
 

• Managing the full project lifecycle from planning through completion.
• Leading project schedules, budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Supervising Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and Superintendents.
• Ensuring compliance with project specifications, building codes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Managing subcontractor relationships, RFIs, change orders, and contract documentation.
• Conducting site visits, safety inspections, and project meetings.
• Identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Supporting business development and proposal activities when required.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Construction Project Manager with a proven track record of independently delivering complex commercial or industrial construction projects. They will possess strong leadership skills, excellent commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
 

Candidates should have:
 

• 10+ years of construction project management experience.
• Experience managing mid-to-large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, procurement, scheduling, budgeting, and project controls.
• Experience using industry software such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or Primavera.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, self-starting attitude and strong leadership capabilities.
• OSHA 30 certification (preferred).
• Construction, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, or MEP project experience preferred.
