Position Overview:
The Low Voltage Estimating Manager
will lead the estimating and preconstruction efforts for all low voltage and structured cabling projects. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage estimating processes, mentor junior estimators, and work closely with clients, vendors, and project managers to deliver accurate, competitive, and timely proposals.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all low voltage and structured cabling estimating activities.

Prepare detailed cost estimates, take-offs, and bid proposals for commercial projects.

Lead, train, and mentor a small team of estimators and preconstruction staff.

Review design drawings, specifications, and RFP documents to determine scope of work.

Collaborate with project management, engineering, and operations teams during preconstruction.

Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate pricing.

Ensure all estimates align with company goals, margin targets, and project timelines.

Participate in bid reviews and value engineering discussions.
