About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent with a strong background in ground-up multi-family construction projects.

This role is responsible for full on-site project leadership from start to completion. The Lead Superintendent will oversee field operations, manage subcontractors, enforce safety standards, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The position works closely with the Project Manager and Assistant Superintendent to coordinate daily activities, resolve field issues, and maintain smooth project execution.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of progressive experience in ground-up multi-family construction, ideally on large-scale projects (100+ units) in a Lead Superintendent or similar role.

They will be a strong on-site leader with excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. A deep understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination is essential.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and project controls
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts
  • Experience with Procore or similar construction management software
  • Proven track record of enforcing safety and quality standards
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred
