My client is a well-established electrical and building technology contractor with over a century of experience delivering complex, large-scale projects. About the Role

  • Lead schedule development and implementation using tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Review and compare general contractor-issued schedules for accuracy and alignment with project plans.
  • Update and report on project schedule health, identifying and communicating areas of concern.
  • Work with project teams to define scheduling requirements based on contract baselines and project risk.
  • Incorporate change orders and perform time impact analysis as needed.
  • Identify schedule risks and recommend strategies for mitigation.
  • Interface with owners, contractors, and subcontractors regarding progress versus milestones.
  • Compile schedule and progress reports showing actual versus planned performance.
  • Define primary, secondary, and tertiary critical paths and highlight key milestone variances.
  • Travel locally between office and jobsite locations (typically up to 25% - 50%) 

About the Candidate

  • Five or more years of experience as a construction scheduler, preferably in electrical contracting.
  • Experience with ground-up construction projects; healthcare, water, or wastewater project experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Excel, and Bluebeam.
  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
  • Strong organization, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and proactively solve problems independently and as part of a team.
