About the Role
Position Summary
The Junior Electrical Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for a variety of electrical construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and pricing, as well as experience reading blueprints and specifications. This is a key role within our preconstruction team and provides a critical link between sales, engineering, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities

Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive electrical estimates.

Perform accurate quantity take-offs of electrical materials and labor.

Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitive pricing.

Develop and maintain detailed cost databases for future estimates.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify project scope and requirements.

Participate in bid reviews and strategy meetings.

Track and maintain records of estimates, change orders, and bid results.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal electrical codes and regulations.
