HVAC & Plumbing Vice President

We serve general contractors, commercial property owners, and residential property managers across ground-up construction, tenant improvements, system installations, preventative maintenance, and 24/7 service. Operating across two strategic regional divisions, the company is focused on scalable growth, operational excellence, exceptional workmanship, and long-term customer relationships.

The VP of Operations will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations, field execution, team performance, and P&L results across the company's HVAC and plumbing divisions.

The role will lead service, construction, dispatch, project execution, fleet, workforce planning, and operational strategy while driving greater alignment between the two divisions. The executive will be responsible for establishing scalable processes, improving labor and technician productivity, maintaining strong gross margins, developing leadership talent, and ensuring consistent safety, quality, and customer service standards.

• 8+ years of progressive senior operations leadership within mechanical contracting, HVAC, plumbing, or a related industry; VP, Director, General Manager, or Senior Operations Manager experience preferred.
• Deep knowledge of commercial and residential HVAC, hydronics, commercial plumbing, industrial/compressed-air piping, and service/maintenance operations.
•  Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams including project managers, superintendents, dispatchers, estimators, and field technicians.
• Strong P&L ownership with experience managing budgets, job costing, labor efficiency, utilization, forecasting, and gross margins.
• Track record of implementing SOPs, improving accountability, scaling operations, and driving measurable performance improvements.
