About the Client
We are seeking an experienced
High-Rise General Superintendent to lead the field operations of large-scale vertical construction projects in Miami with a well established GC in South East Florida. This role is responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
About the Role
- Lead all on-site construction operations for high-rise (20+ story) projects
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules (short-interval planning)
- Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies
- Conduct daily site meetings, progress tracking, and reporting
- Collaborate with Project Managers, engineers, and ownership teams
- Oversee inspections, quality control, and closeout processes
- Resolve field issues, conflicts, and coordination challenges in real time
- Ensure adherence to Miami-Dade building codes and local regulations
About the Candidate
Qualifications
- 10+ years of construction experience with at least 5 years as Lead/General Superintendent
- Proven experience delivering high-rise residential, mixed-use, or commercial towers
- Strong knowledge of structural systems (concrete, post-tension, curtain wall, etc.)
- Ability to manage large teams and complex logistics in urban environments
- Proficient with scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience
- Miami / South Florida market experience
- Experience with projects $100M+
- High-rise concrete structure expertise
