Fire Protection Engineer - Texas

• Our client is a growing Fire Protection company with 8 offices across the US. From complex builds to fast-paced schedules, they have delivered on projects of every size while building strong, lasting partnerships across the industry
• While Texas remains their home base, their footprint continues to grow into states like Florida and Tennessee. Wherever they go, their mission stays the same: to make the communities they serve safer

We will consider most areas within Texas, such as Austin, Houston, Dallas & San Antonio

• Salary: $150,000 to $195,000

• Designing and evaluating sprinkler, smoke control, fire alarm and mass notification systems,
• Ensuring code compliance across NFPA and local/state regulations,
• Running fire hazard analyses and computer fire modeling,
• Working closely with architects and builders on performance based fire safety solutions.

• 10+ years in fire protection with at least 5 years as an FPE,
• A BS in Fire Protection Engineering or a related field,
• PE license strongly preferred,
• NICET certification a plus,
• Strong command of AutoCAD,
• Revit and hydraulic calculation tools.
• Process driven with an eye for detail.
• Full drivers licence
• Be able to pass drugs screening & a background check
• Has the right to work in the US
