About the Role

What We’re Looking For:
  • 5+ years’ experience in Fire Alarm service
  • Strong, comprehensive technical knowledge of fire alarm systems and service work
  • Ability to service additional low-voltage/security systems is a plus
  • NICET Level II in Fire Alarm Systems preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting ability and customer-facing professionalism
  • Comfortable covering a multi-county service territory
  • Valid driver’s license and clean record

Compensation & Benefits:
  • $28.00–$35.00 per hour (DOE)

About the Candidate

Our client is seeking an experienced Lead Fire Alarm Service Technician to support service operations across the Tampa 5-county region. This is a senior-level, hands-on role for someone who has a deep understanding of fire alarm service, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.

The ideal candidate will be the go-to expert in the field, capable of handling complex service calls, solving issues independently, and delivering exceptional customer service. Experience servicing additional low-voltage or security systems is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of commercial fire alarm systems
  • Lead field service operations and act as the primary technical expert
  • Perform inspections, testing, and routine maintenance in line with NFPA standards
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide real-time solutions
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, industry regulations, and best practices
  • Provide clear communication with customers and internal teams
  • Complete accurate service reports and documentation
  • Support and mentor junior or mid-level technicians when required
